Take your seat
The GCU Take your seat campaign has been launched to give alumni and friends of the University an affordable and meaningful way to contribute to the GCU Annual Fund.
By naming a seat in the Deeprose Theatre you will not only be taking your place in our future, you will be making a gift that will benefit future generations of students through the Annual Fund, providing scholarships and financial support to our students.
The Deeprose Theatre is one of our finest and busiest lecture theatres; used not only for teaching thousands of students across all our Schools, it is home to a number of University events including the prestigious Caledonian Business School Masterclass series where we have enjoyed talks from world class industry leaders including Sir Alex Ferguson, Ian McLeod and Lena Wilson.
A chair can be named for a minimum of £100. Your gift of £100 or more can be paid in a one off payment or by annual direct debit over 5 years. A plate will be engraved with your name, subject of study and year of graduation on the chair in the lecture theatre for a period of 5 years.
